The Personal Me September 5, 2008
I, Kristin Nicole Mason, am somewhat competitive and very driven. After the introductions, I am a fun, outgoing, playful person. I like to make inside or random jokes. Life is no fun unless you laugh every hour of every day. However, in new settings I tend to be a bit stand off-ish, at least until I get comfortable.
I, thankfully, have no children, as if the world needs more. I am single, but not looking to get into a relationship. School and work experience is my main focus as of now. After I graduate is when I will allow Prince Charming to sweep me up. I am honestly scared of real life, but I am doing everything I possibly can to prepare me for it so that I can succeed in real life… the competitive side of me. My hidden goal…if all else fails, become a rich man’s house wife.
I am a home body who loves spending time with family. I plan on working to live comfortably, but not too much that I don’t spend adequate time with my family. When I get stressed, my family is who I run to for relief.
Stress is so easy for me. I can get stressed out in less than a minute. The only positive thing is that stress drives me to get the job done. If I’m not stressed about it, my hard work isn’t put into the project. That is the only positive side to stress. After the project is completed, I celebrate! Shake the stress away.

The Professional Me September 2, 2008
I am a Junior at the University of Oklahoma studying Broadcast Journalism. I recently finished an internship at KOCO News Channel 5 this summer. The experience was eye opening. I was able to help reporters conduct interviews, make phone calls, write stories and other tasks that schooling cannot teach. I am a hard working person. I am also eager to learn everything I can to better myself in my job. I am determined to be successful in any task.
My career goal is to be a news anchor- local, national or entertainment. I just like finding out what is going on in the world around me and telling others about what I found out. Though, I am willing to do any job in communications. I have an interest in all departments and, if given the opportunity, will master the skills in which ever job I obtain.
